Reading Literacy

Reading literacy is fundamental to academic success. Critical reading, or informational literacy, is a key component of the standardized educational tests and a focus of the common core curriculum. This skill involves comprehension, analysis and the ability to summarize. We incorporate these topics into our existing tutoring program and the SAT workshop.

In addition to reading literacy, the Bridges works to increase family financial literacy and to close the digital divide in computer knowledge, access and literacy.

In addition to critical reading, we offer:
